Peter, thanks for sharing this link. Open Loops is a blog I'll start following.

The comments to the article are very interesting in themselves. I view communication as a skill that can be learned and practiced just like playing the piano. Some people are "natural" communicators like some people can just sit down and play the piano by ear. But, the more you learn about what makes communication effective and factors that affect how your communication is perceived, the more proficient you become in communicating. Just like the more you learn about music theory and techniques, the more proficient your piano performance becomes.

You have an interesting opinion I must say.
I believe that anyone can do better in their communication if they begin to realize the things they are doing consiously and the ones they do unconsiously.
